| Tea time treats Have you ever had the pleasure of afternoon tea? Dainty finger sandwiches, pastries, scones and clotted cream served on fine bone china... such a special treat!  I have always had a fascination with tea time; adore the food, the charming setting as well as holding up my pinkie when I drink tea from the loveliest of cups!  My love of tea time naturally led to collecting vintage tea cups, china, napkins, place card holders, all things feminine and pretty and most necessary for tea!  When my daughter Natalie was little we had teddy bear and dolly teas with a mini tea set. Then years later when my beautiful Natalie was engaged, my dream came true hosting a bridal shower tea. How much fun to use all those vintage tea lovelies I'd collected over time. It was a blessed day that will always hold a special place in my heart! - In a nutshell, I’ve always enjoyed creating things and L-O-V-E vintage. In addition I am a craft enthusiast — I adore finding treasures and playing with old and new materials to create something new! In 2003, I decided to unleash my creative energy and began a home- based jewelry business and found my élan! Happy to stay at home and repurpose jewelry, I was also a wife and mother. But our world fell apart when my husband suddenly passed away. With less time to create, my focus turned to selling vintage and antique jewelry online rather than designing. Constantly a learning process, I have garnered much knowledge about precious keepsakes and have once again begun utilizing these unique pieces in my designs. When not creating with vintage findings, you can find me at a flea market, antique mall, spending precious time with beloved family and friends. In the summer look for me in the garden or at an outdoor concert or happily whipping up a recipe found on Pinterest. In my blog you will find the musings of a widow, a mother, a friend and daughter. I have a passion for life and never have another hours in a day! xo
